Valencia CF's new coach visits Ciudad Deportiva
Before the Valencia CF squad return from their summer break, new coach Javi Gracia headed to the Ciudad Deportiva to check out the facilities where he will go about his daily work during the coming season.
"It's been a great welcome. I feel at home already and I'm looking forward to getting started," said the coach, who is renowned for going above and beyond with his analysis of tactics and opposing teams.
During his first visit he met with those in charge of the VCF Academy, including the head of the youth system, Sean Bai. He explained to VCF Media that the work at the training ground will be fundamental to success.
"I'd like everyone to believe in this project that we are starting, because I think that it's a nice one. It's a project for constant growth, without losing that daily level of demand that means we all know that we need to win -and to do things very well. It's a challenge, but at the same time I think it's something that is possible to achieve and very attractive for everybody. It's nice to see the growth of the team, and I'd like the possibilities the team have to be seen from day one."
